Welcome! My name is Travis Troyer, and I’m the middle school principal. Looking back at my career in education, I realize that all 26 years have been spent in a middle school. The first ten years were spent as an English teacher in Owensville, Missouri, followed by 16 serving the people of Morgan County as an administrator at Versailles Middle School. I am deeply committed to our school's mission and look forward to working with all of you to achieve our goals.

Versailles Middle School's mission is to provide our students with a safe and understanding environment that will enable them to learn and grow. We also want to give our teachers the support they need to help our students reach their full potential and assist parents as they navigate their middle schoolers' development. 

Our goals for the coming school year are to:

• Increase the number of students who are testing at or above grade level.
• Decrease the number of students missing school.
• Decrease the number of office referral disciplines.
